Senior Interface Designer £50-70k
This close-knit agency client are recruiting a multidisciplined creative with an outstanding online portfolio. You will have worked across large and sometimes complex websites and are interested in exploring mobile platform concept and design. The team is structured to ensure strong relationships with the creative and design directors as well as the UX and development teams who are all based onsite. The team is fun loving, hard working and passionate and seeks like minded people. The right candidate will have a forward-thinking portfolio containing ideas and designs which demonstrate an awareness of consumer and technology trends and smart production techniques.
Responsibilities include:
• Excellent design skills (strong ability to visualise layouts/ideas, beautiful typographic
expression, skillful art direction of photography/illustration). Must be strong in information
design/ data visualisation.
• Confidence using in CS software.
• Experience of Agile process.
• Experience of designing template driven websites.
• Ability to visually translate a brand into intuitive end to end digital experience.
• Passionate about interaction design and user experience. Must be able to work across
all stages of interaction design (from concept to finished UI).
• Capable of working closely with a team of UX architects and front end developers.
• Able to create designs that can be developed by a technical team using HTML, CSS,
JavaScript. Flash interface designers need not apply
• Have up-to-date knowledge of front end technology capabilities
• Ability to work quickly and progress from concept design to final production quality pages.
Keen eye for detail and proactive approach to overcoming design challenges
• Most importantly, to be excited to work on projects with lots of unknowns and designing
elegant solutions for problems that have quite literally never been solved before
