BRAND STRATEGY DIRECTOR
They are looking for a brand strategy director with strong analytical skills. The person will be able to develop processes and frameworks to solve complex brand and marketing issues. The candidate needs to be numerically literate and be fluent in marketing metrics and data analysis.
Specific responsibilities include
- Manage engagements with a team of 3-5 high qualified people
- Monitor project scope and profitability
- Develop insightful analysis and candid recommendations when faced with ambiguity
- Present analysis and recommendations for client senior management
- Develop proprietary tools and processes
- Work with creative and client management teams to deliver holistic solutions
- Train/mentor other consultants
- Conduct project evaluations with junior consultants
- Identify and close new business leads
- Oversee relationships with third-party suppliers e.g. research agencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Prior consulting experience at a leading business or brand strategy consulting firm for at least seven years
- Financial and numeric analytical skills preferred
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence, persuade, and ask tough questions
- Ability to develop a strategy as well as execute the tactical implementation of that strategy
- Prior experience leading teams and enhancing team success through guidance, leadership, and active participation on internal and external client project teams
- Passion for brand and consumer-facing issues
- Ability to cultivate existing and new client relationships resulting in the sale of new engagements.
