Overview
Business Analyst - Software Development, Systems, Technical (XML,SQL), Insurance, Policy Administration
Business analysts are required to join a software consultancy specialising in insurance solutions. The successful analysts will sit within the software delivery team and work end-to-end to ensure software implementations are delivered on time and within budget. Travel will be expected when project deadlines arise and this can include exotic European locations and areas nationwide. The salary is negotiable and ideally the candidates will be able to work on a technical configuration basis.
Key Requirements:
•Deep knowledge of the software development life cycle and has a proven record of implementing software solutions
•Insurance/life and pensions knowledge and understands policy administration
•Business analysis skills; gathering requirements, translating documentation to create specifications, undertaking gap analysis for customization of existing products, UAT and post-implementation support
•Preferably has some technical knowledge around Scripting and coding for application configuration; SQL, XML
•Ideally has worked in a software consultancy previously and can manage a variety of stakeholders at client sites
•Has worked in a range of project methodologies; Agile, Waterfall and Prince2
•Strong educational attainments; relevant business accreditations and educated to degree level
