Planning Director
An award winning and one of the word’s largest Media Agencies offers a a fantastic opportunity to become a planning director working with their enviable client list including 02, NSPCC, McDonalds and Audi. The Planning Director will lead, develop and train the planning talent whilst working closely with the Experience department to ensure we deliver outstanding creative work for our communications clients. The Planning Director will need to demonstrate and engender passion, cutting edge creativity, imagination and experimental thinking.
Role Requirements
Knowledge of:
- Traditional and digital planning practices, techniques, theories and methodologies
- The evolving digital marketing landscape: how brands engage with consumers through digital channels in the past, present and future
- The integrated communications planning process: from a client brief to development of a creative concept and lay down of a media plan
- Emerging media spaces including social, mobile, IPTV, outdoor and experiential
- Multiple industries and sectors including Retail, FMCG, Financial Services, Automotive, Fashion and Media
- Advanced research methodologies, resources and tools for insight development
Experience Required
- You will have 5-10 years in a marketing agency environment
- 5+ years in communications planning
- Planned award-winning communications campaigns
- Led, created and delivered effective digital strategies for high-profile brands .
- Worked closely with creative teams and creative directors to evolve planning processes and deliver new, innovative and successful digital marketing solutions
- Global and pan-European communications planning
- Managed and developed talent in communications planning
- Established and maintained fruitful relationships with c-suite marketing clients in high-profile brands
