To strengthen the Sales Unit we are looking for a




The Head of Sales Germany has the responsibility for the growth of new business in Germany, principally measured on revenue levels and the number of new accounts won.

Your Responsibilities:

In this key sales role your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving new business acquisition in Germany to achieve the companies overall growth objectives by increasing new business revenues and by increasing the number of new business accounts won
  • Develop and manage the own sales pipeline
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs that come into the business
  • Monitor and prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting for management, team and one-to-one meetings including inbound sales, outbound sales calls, lead conversion rate, close rates, average deal size, sales cycle length, sales productivity per sales person
  • Deliver continuous improvement to help customer growth, improve customer acquisition and customer on-boarding experience
  • Provide support to the sales support staff in the German market to increase detailed understanding of both, the customer needs and requirements and the competitor strengths and 
  • Develop sales tools, collateral and processes to improve the effectiveness of the sales team
  • Responsible for staffing and directing the sales team
  • Based on performance and needs develop coaching and training to improve sales team performance
  • Identify other ways to help Sales team members improve performance
  • Reporting to the Sales Director EMEA based in the UK

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years work experience in a sales environment in an online company or division (e.g. e-commerce, portal, marketing, agency)
  • Experience in project management and conducting negotiations
  • Team-leading experience advantageous
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Hands-on mentality with a consultative selling approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Structured, independent, efficient, transparent modus operandi
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Native German / Excellent English
