 variety of media content in culture, events and sports and holds business opportunities in fields of TV, Print and Digital Media with 
fresh and innovative media content.

To manage their international communication team we are looking for an experienced



Purpose of the job:

The Global Head of Communication will be responsible for the international communication strategy and safeguarding of its smooth global execution, supporting both – the Headquarters’ business and marketing goals as well as the media partners’ objectives. The successful candidate is the spearhead of the global communication and correspondent network and serves as their ambassador and key account contact within the company, ensuring proper expectation management, fulfilment of deliverables and exchange of best practice examples & innovation in content development and creation, distribution and own channel building.

The position heads the global communication team for international sport, events and culture projects as well as drives central media service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Defines International communications strategy and safeguards local compliance
  • Drives excellence in local execution of plans and deliverables
  • Acts as key account manager for the brand from the media partner perspective
  • Fosters innovation and best practise exchange
  • Safeguards talent identification and drives people development in the communication field
  • Supports the Area Marketing Managers in their country mission and ensures 100% alignment for one message to the countries


Key Requirements:

  • BA / MA in marketing, media or communication related study
  • Demonstrable achievements in a corporate communications environment with an international brand, a digital media company (web, mobile,  IPTV, etc.) or with a Communication Agency specialised on large events and/or branded entertainment communication.
  • At least 4 – 6 years experience in a senior communications position with management experience
  • Previous PR agency or Journalism background desirable
  • Evidence of success in building consensus among individuals and groups
  • Excellent priority management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Fluent in spoken and written English essential; German skills would be of advantage
  • Experience in events, sport or cultural projects would be desirable
  • Excellent leadership and team member skills
  • Creative with strong personal influencing skills
  • Dynamic, mature, self-assured individual with excellent communication skill
